Linda Johnson Wins HOPE Work Share “Competition” for February 2018

“Untitled,” © Linda Johnson 2018

Congratulations to Linda Johnson who wins this month’s Work Share “competition!”

This is a constructed image, composed of two different photographs, to tell a story of hope.  This is the kind of creative thinking we try to foster with our work sharing “competitions.”

Linda’s photo tells a story and is very topical, given the immigration debates we are having as a country now.  Linda’s photo is from the heart, as she is the daughter of a WWII “war bride” immigrant from the Netherlands.  This photo should resonate with pretty much everyone since we are mostly all descendants of immigrants, if not actual immigrants, to this country.

Well done Linda!

Thanks to all the members who submitted photos this month.  Again, it’s often not an easy choice to select the one best image that meets the theme.  Kudos to all for submitting good images to make our selection process difficult.

Our next monthly Club meeting will be Thursday March 15, 2018, 7 PM at the Kings Park Library basement conference room.  Hope to see you there!
