Liz Milward Wins WINTER WONDERLAND Work Share “Competition” for January 2018
Congratulations to Liz who wins the WINTER WONDERLAND: POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE Work Share “Competition” for January with this great shot of an iconic Kings Park location, The Bluff.
The theme this month was winter, in all its glorious, and not so glorious, moments. Liz entered this beautiful shot of the quintessential Kings Park location, the beloved Bluff. Liz captured both the beauty and the hard part of winter. The beautiful subtle colors of the winter sunset, mixed with the ice flows in salt water indicating the very cold conditions we had in the early part of this winter. So this photo shows both the positive aspects of winter and the negative aspects of winter (if you are not a fan of the extreme cold) in one image.
Well done Liz!
I have to say the quality of the images submitted this month made it extremely hard for me to chose the best image meeting the theme. I took a while to consider my choice, but in the end Liz’s image won me over. My thanks to all the members who submitted such great images, and who make the vote for a winner so difficult. Well done folks!
Our next Work Share “competition” for February is HOPE. I can’t wait to see how our members will interpret this theme.
Check back here on March 1st for the HOPE winner to see for yourself. Or, better yet, join the club to participate and enjoy the other benefits of Club membership. Please see the Join page on how to become a member.
Our next Club meeting will be on Thursday 2/15/2018, 7 PM at the Kings Park Library. Hope to see you there!
